THE DRAW

Welcome

The Draw pairs a traditional tarot pull with your birth chart, so the card you draw gets read through your own sun and moon sign, not a one-size-fits-all meaning.

Every reading is built around whatever you're hoping to navigate — a category (Love, Family, Career, or something you'd rather keep private) and, if you want, a specific question. The goal is reflection, not prophecy: a reading gives you a perspective to sit with, never a verdict on your health, someone else's choices, or anything final.

Getting started

The very first time you open the app, a short welcome screen plays once — after that, you go straight to building your profile.

1. Your birthday — the only required field. It's what your sun and moon sign are calculated from, so it's the one piece the whole app hangs on.
2. Birth time (optional) — sharpens your moon sign. Skippable, but worth adding if you know it.
3. Birth place (optional) — used only if you later choose to add a rising sign for better alignment.
4. What you're hoping to explore — pick a category: Love, Family, Career, or Prefer not to say.
5. Your question (optional) — anything specific on your mind. You can leave this blank and just draw.

Right now, every plan — Free and Wisher alike — includes one profile per install. Multiple profiles will be available soon.

Card of the Day

One free pull a day, waiting on the Draw screen the moment you open the app.

Card of the Day needs no setup — it's there even before you've created a profile. After you create a profile on The Draw, you can personalize the reading, which is framed by the card's own general meaning for 1 Wish, through your own sun and moon sign instead of the generic note.

Only one pull a day; personalizing it doesn't change or reset the result.

Reading for yourself, or someone else

This choice is about whose chart frames the reading — not who the question is about.

If your question happens to involve someone else — "will things improve with my partner?" — that's still a reading for you: it uses your own chart, and your question can be about anyone or anything.

Someone else is a different, narrower thing: a quick read specifically about a third party, with no chart at all — no birth data, no profile, nothing saved about them once the reading ends. You fill in your relationship to them, what you're hoping to explore about them, and your question about them, all in your own voice. They never see this screen, and the reading always speaks about them in the third person.

Example: choose Someone else, enter "my partner" as the relationship, and ask "Will they get a promotion this year?" — the reading speaks about your partner in the third person, not to them directly.

Drawing a card

Shuffle your own physical deck and tell the app what you drew (highly recommended), or let the app shuffle and draw for you.

If you're on the Free Tier plan, you can unlock the Single spread for free by watching a short rewarded ad instead of spending a Wish. Bigger spreads, however, are Wishes only.

Once the spread is unlocked, there's a short "take a moment" pause before the shuffle — a beat to actually hold your question before the cards come up.

Reading your result

Each card is explained on its own, then tied back to your birth chart, and woven into one overall synthesis.

From there, you can keep the conversation going one of two ways:

Wishes are what nearly everything in the app costs — and there's more than one way to earn them without spending real money. Hooray.

Rewards

Ads, ratings, and reflections all draw from one shared pool of up to 10 Wishes a day. Your daily login bonus doesn't count against that pool, so opening the app is always rewarded.

Plans: Free and Wisher

Wisher is a $9.99/month subscription that hands you Wishes automatically — everything else about the free tier stays the same.

The Journal

Saving readings to your Journal is free on every plan — the free tier's limit is how long you can see an entry, not whether you can save it at all.

On the free plan, a saved entry stays fully visible through the end of the month you saved it in — once the calendar rolls into a new month, it locks. After that, you can still unlock it one at a time for 1 Wish, or subscribe to Wisher for unlimited history from day one.

Once a month, if you have entries that have aged out this way, the app asks you directly: keep the whole batch for 8 Wishes, or let it go. Nothing expires silently. Your very first batch is cheaper — 3 Wishes — if it's made up of readings from the month you first installed the app.

Tap a date, or a second date for a range, to see a recap of that stretch of readings. A quick statistical summary is always free; for 3 Wishes, generate a full AI-written recap that draws out the actual pattern across those readings instead of just counting them.

Reading with your past

If you've saved readings in the same category before, the Draw screen will offer to include them — but only if you choose to.

This is only available if your past readings match the exact category of your new question. When it does, you'll see the number of the related readings found right away — Skip is the default; nothing is sent unless you explicitly choose Include.

Your Year Book

One card per month, covering the whole calendar year — including months already behind you or ahead.

Open the Year Book from the menu. As with any other draw, you're asked first whether you're laying out your own physical cards or want The Draw to draw them for you.

Drawing your year lays out all twelve cards face-up straight away — seeing the shape of the year is free. Reading a single month costs 12 Wishes for a full, personalized interpretation, or unlock all twelve at once for 100 Wishes — cheaper than month by month, and it adds the full year's synthesis. Months before the current one are framed as a reflection rather than a forecast. You can also look back at a past year entirely, not just the current one.

There's also a Year Summary for 12 Wishes — three cards on the shape of the whole year as one arc: where it began, where it stands, where it's headed. It's a different lens from unlocking months, not a cheaper version of it — a broad read on the year itself rather than a close look at any one month — so you can add it at any point, before or after you've unlocked months or the whole year.

Everything you unlock here is saved and revisited from the Year Book screen itself — tap a revealed month to reopen it, or use View your Year Summary for the year read. Year Book readings live here rather than in your regular Journal list, so the list stays a record of your everyday draws.

Your data

Everything lives on your device first. Nothing requires an account.

• Your profile, journal, and Wish balance are stored locally by default.
• Cloud backup is optional — send yourself a link by email and your data can follow you to a new device, without ever forcing you through a full account signup.
• Without cloud backup, your Wish history keeps only the 50 most recent transactions on the device; older ones are dropped and can't be recovered. Turn cloud backup on and every transaction is kept — you can request your full history any time by emailing thedrawtarot@gmail.com from your registered address.
• Offline mode skips the AI entirely and falls back to each card's general meaning plus your zodiac sign — the app still works with no connection.
• When a reading does call the AI, your question, category, and chart details are sent only to generate that one reading — never used for anything else.

A note on the cards

A reading is a perspective, not a prediction.

Every card note connects back to your own chart — most often your sun and moon sign, occasionally your rising sign if you've chosen to share it.

Whatever your signs, the app will never hand you a definitive claim about your health, someone else's choices, or anything final — just something worth sitting with.
